St. Sofia cathedral in Constantinople (Istanbul)

Hagia Sophia – the Church of the Holy Wisdom of God designed in 532 – 37 years by 2 outstanding figures of that time – mathematician Isidore of Miletus and great architect Anthemius of Tralles.

Design for this cathedral is smart and has never been repeated.

In architectural meaning it was a sheer experiment.
For the first time in the world it was created an interior capable to contain infinite God.
