The Tretyakov Gallery on Krymsky Val (XX c)

Tretyakov picture gallery on Krymsky Val survey (1,5 – 2,5 hours) shows 1st and 2nd half of the 20th century Russian art known as the Soviet avant-garde and the Socialist Realism.

"Winter" LarionovMore than 30 rooms represents world famous names of V.Kandinsky,  M.Chagall, K.Malevich, P.Filonov, L.Popova. As well as less heard but no less grandiose figures of Russian avant-garde: M. Larionov, N. Goncharova, I. Mashkov, P. Konchalovsky, A. Lentulov and many many others.

Opened for visitors:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Sundays 10 am – 6 pm
office and last admission until 5 pm
Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays 10 am – 9 pm

adults and students 500 rub/person
aged under 18 free visiting

taking pictures (no flash) for free (on the permanent expositions)
On Wednesdays visiting is free (except exhibition “Geliy Korzhev”)
