House-museum of Feodor Chaliapin

Feodor Chaliapin (1873-1938) bought this house in 1910. That city-estate built in the late 18th century survived through the fire of 1812.
Being nationalized in 1918 the house dilapidated considerably and was converted into a museum only in 1978.
The study of Chaliapin, Green lounge, Grand theatrical hall and an enfilade of the 1st floor rooms are available for visitors as a museum.

Tuesday       10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Wednesday 11:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Thursday    11:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturday    10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday       10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Ticket office closed 1 hour earlier.
Days off: Friday, Monday
Last working day of each month is a sanitary day.
